Cloning; Prenatal Genetics
Cloning is creating an organism that is genetically identical to the parent cell.
In this article, we see that scientist have described a new cloning technique that reprogrammed human cells to create stem cells. This technique is known as somatic cell nuclear transfer, and fuses mature cells from an infant to an egg cell that had their DNA nuclei removed. Researches also used the same technique to try this but with a 35 year old man and a 75 year old man this could create a path to grow replacement cells or organisms, that aging adults would need later on in life.
Some pros of this article is that in this case of an adult needed an organ or needing cells to function completely, they would be able to reproduce what is needed and the adult would be able to go back to his or her life when ever thing was functioning properly. However, the cons of this is that because it creates an embryo that could basically tune into a fetus if placed in a uterus. Many oppose this because some say it taking an embryo to harvest some skin cells is taking a life.
I personally don't believe that we should use this technique to clone an entire human, but I do believe that we could use this process to create certain organs that humans would need later on. I think we should use this to clone body organs so that we can replace organs that have failed in a persons organism. Also, using Henrietta's cells to test this out would be okay, because they reproduce in multitude, trial and error would be fine instead of using someone else's cells.

Prenatal Genetics
In this Article, we see that a new study from Bradley Hospital has identified a genetic change in a recently found autism associated gene. First found in a girl with development delay, they also found this gene in a boy who is diagnosed with autism. The ADNP plays a big role in brain development. They have recently discovered that when changes are caused in this gene, it causes an individual to carry the gene of autism. With this, they had discovered the .17 percent of cases of autism are linked to this gene, that delays the devilment of the brain.
Some pros of this articles are that discovering which gene cause the delayed development of the brain and is linked to autism can help test parents for the ADNP gene that causes this, and can help prevent it by cloning or by creating a procedure to change the code of this gene. The cons are that while this is and advancement, iota still only accounts for .17 percent of the cases, of autism and would cost a lot of money that wouldn't make the large of an affect as continuing to look for a different cure.
I personally believe that while this is a good idea, and is an advancement to this point in time, it is not like very adult that wants to have a child would go get tested to see if they carry this gene that is discovered to have been linked to autism. I believe that if Henrietta was around when they discovered this, she might have been able to find out the gene she carried and that she would be able to see Eliza having a deployment of the Bail instead of just "idiocy."
